[Opinions] Re: Melody

I'm not big on word names in general, and Melody is not one I'd ever choose - I'd rather have a Melanie round the house than a Melody who might well turn out clumsy, plain and tone-deaf.
I taught a Melody Miller once. She was dazzlingly beautiful, but not really a nice person and not much of a thinker. One day in class I mentioned that names have meanings, just like other words, and the kids got quite excited! Especially Melody. She jumped up and down, squeaking "What does my name mean, Miss Lastname?" Really! She even played the piano.
