[Opinions] Ashley
Wdyt?

I like it as a masculine name.
I've known too many Ashleys to actually have an opinion on the name itself. I simply can't.
I was born in '91. Wanna know how many Ashleys I know?
I know more Ashleys than I do Jessicas, Emilys, Tiffanys, Stephanies, Hannahs, Nicoles, Alyssas... the only name that could really complete with Ashley (and all its variants) in my neck of the woods would be Brittany. That's how many.
So it's difficult for me to shake the "Oh my gosh, another one?!" association from the name. But even then, I can't get over the "Ash" beginning. Yes, I know, it's a tree, but I can't help thinking of ash trays and barren wastelands.

I was born later than you and same.
I don't like it. It sounds basic and dated in the same way I find Britney and Amber dated. I much prefer Ashlyn.
