The word wada, which means "flaw" in Polish, is pronounced the same way, so it's a no from me.

The spelling of Veda looks better IMO

It is okay. I prefer Vidia or Veda, but it's fine.

sorry dont like it

By all means it's not bad, but I think it lacks something. Maybe because it's short and has a repeated sound - a bit monotonous. But that's just my opinion, the one that really matters is yours :)

It doesn't have a repeated sound, unless they're pronouncing it in a rare way...it's usually vay-duh.

I’m not offended at all. It’s a friend of my sisters who is expecting next week. I’m not a huge fan of the name either but ultimately each to their own or what a boring place the world would be.

I like Veda. I don't like how Vada is visually closer to Vader / invader and (despite being transliterated) more distant from veda / Vedas.

In Czech it’s the word for a flaw / mistake so.. not a good word name for me

I guarantee the mother's favorite movie (or one of them) is My Girl, because that's how Anna Chlumsky's character spells it in the movie. It's usually spelled Veda otherwise, though that can also look like it's VEE-duh instead of VAY-duh.It's not my favorite name, but it isn't bad, either.

I don't like it, it just sounds too much like Vader.
