[Opinions] Hannah
Any thoughts on Hannah? I’ve really fallen for its charms lately and wanted to share. I don’t have an ideal middle name for it yet (no Grace or Elizabeth, please). But admiration is increasing! I also think Hannie is cute.

And now for something completely different
I hate the name Hannah. It makes me think of two things: An overweight, very plain, mid-nineteenth century woman, in a very drab dark mid-nineteen century dress, with hair parted in the middle and stuck very close to her scalp, which is how all mid-nineteenth century women wore their hair but on her it's even more unattractive than it is on 99% of other women. And second, it makes me think of chicken soup, which I hate. The name Hannah makes me want to vomit.

You know, for a while I had similar associations. The phrase “Hard-Hearted Hannah” stuck in my mind for a long time. But recently, I realized that it is very clean and tidy, and the symmetry pleases me. Thank you for your thoughtfully passionate writing! I enjoy your expressiveness!
I think it's like a fuzzy pink sweater.
I think it's lovely, very practical and also gentle on the ears. There once was a time where I used to absolutely despise it because of negative associations that I had with it. However as I got older, I came across another Hannah who was a very pleasant individual. After meeting her, my view on the name changed. I likely wouldn't use it in real life (although it will always hold a soft spot in my heart, not only because of a former friend of mine but the fact that it was also the name of my late mother's dog. An adorable Maltese with a very loving and hyperactive temperment) However I did use the name for one of my characters, inspired after her (Not only by the moniker itself but also parts of the personality) -which may be a bit strange I admit, but I thought, why not? (:
As for middle names maybe...
Hannah Caroline
Hannah Charlotte
Hannah Evelien (ay-və-LEEN)
Hannah Faye
Hannah Gabrielle
Hannah Josephine
Hannah Scarlett
Sorry I don't have many to offer. /:

Hannah is a lovely name. I associate it with one of the kindest people I've ever known
Hannah is one of the softest, gentlest names. It reminds me of a sweet lamb. It isn't a name I would use myself because I prefer a bit more spunk, but I definitely see why it appeals to people.
I think Hannah is a nice, solid name. I enjoy its meaning and sweet sunshine feel. Despite its big spike in U.S. popularity, it retains a timeless quality for me. Throwing out a mish-mash of middle ideas...
