For a nn, how about Wren? Is that too cute? I knew a Renata once that some people called Nata. But I don't think she ever signed her name that way.

I like Renata a great deal. I think Natty/Nattie would be the first nickname I'd go with. After that, Rena, Rat, or Ren, I suppose. :D

I vaguely knew a girl named Renée, but somehow I always thought of her as Renata (because that's a much more sophisticated name) with Nata as a nickname. :)
