Congratulations!Elise and Brandon, the Logan International Adoption Center is pleased to inform you that we have found 4 children for you.Zoé Marielle, Lisette Renée (Lissie), Sébastien Pierre (Bastien), and Daniel Alexandre (Danny) are 5 year old quadruplets from Avignon, France. They were put up for adoption at age 1 after they were left on the steps of a church, abandoned.Zoé is the leader of the group. She loves being put in charge and helping the adults take care of the younger children. Lissie loves ice-skating, and thanks to a special fund set up by the Center, has been able to begin lessons. Bastien and Danny both play soccer, and are actually at the top of their Youth League. We are happy to place these four siblings in your care. We will appreciate any updates on their new lives. ------------------------------------------

Zoe really enjoys playing with Tegan as Tegan likes to play the baby, so Zoe is in charge throughout. She has been helping with making the dinner every night. It's hard to tell the difference between them all! Lissie loves her ice skating lessons and would like to do ice dancing as well which I will probably pay for. Bastien and Danny are sticking to soccer and Travis joins in quite often. He isn't as good but they are patient with him and help him where they can.**miss_smiley**

Kenna, who loves sports, is crazy about her older brother Cole. He plays ice hockey, and she always goes to his games. Sometimes if his team wins, he goes and puts her on his shoulders and takes her around the rink on a victory lap. Ewan is a budding writer. Congratulations!Rebecca and Pierre, the Logan International Adoption Center is pleased to inform you that we have found six children for you.Sinead Eireann (Sina), 3 years old and Kelan Asher (Lan) and Brogan Alexander (Rory), 5 years old are siblings from Dublin, Ireland. They were put in the Center when Sina was only a few months old when their parents could not afford to take care of them. Sina is a happy toddler. She loves to swim, and when the Center went on a trip to the beach a little bit ago, she was elated. Lan and Rory are identical. The boys are both wild, and are both enamored with firemen. They always say that they want to be firemen when they grow up.Kayleigh Emma (Kay)and Kieran Mackenzie (Ian)are 7-year-old twins from Scotland. They were brought to the Glasgow Center when they were found abandoned as babies in one of the local parks. Kay loves to play soccer, and is just as good if not better than most of the boys in the local league the Center signed her up for. Ian loves nature and animals. He gets very excited when we go on hikes in the woods.Hayden Oliver is a 9 year old boy from London, England. He was abused by his mother as a young boy after his father ran away with another woman, and eventually the police got involved. They took Hayden from the house to the Center. The boy is afraid of older women, so he is taken care of mostly by our male staff. We have been using animal therapy to get Hayden to love life again. He has started riding horses a few times a week, and seems to be opening up.We are happy to give these six children a home with you. Their parents gave custody to the center after they could no longer afford to support the twins. Gemma is a happy girl, who loves to write stories. Rhys loves photography, but has trouble with school, as he has dyslexia. This sometimes makes him feel embarrassed, so he needs a bit of encouragement, which Gemma is only too happy to give.Katharine Annaliese (Katy), 5 years old, and Johannes Erich (Joey/Johan), 9 years old, are siblings from Berlin, Germany. They came to the Center when their father became abusive. Johan and Katy together told their school headmaster and he then summoned the police to the house. Custody was given to the Center. Katy is scared of older men (like father-age), so that will have to be worked on. Johan is protective of his little sister, though he also has some fears of older men because his father once hit him in the face. Both children like to draw as therapy, and Johan is actually developing an amazing style. We are pleased to place these four children with you. They really desire children, but since they know that there are a lot of unloved kids out there, they would like to adopt rather than have biological children. They are both open to older children, minority or biracial children, and special needs children, because those are the groups that are most marginalized.Array

She came to the Jerusalem center when she was 9, after her parents could not afford to take care of her anymore. She has Asperger's Syndrome. Leah is very smart, but has some social problems. Her parents couldn't pay for her medicine. Leah has a dog named Tikva, a golden retriever, that she got as a goodbye present from her parents. They were left on the step of the Moscow Center just a year ago. The twins are very quiet and helpful. We suspect that they might have been abused verbally, because they get scared whenever someone shouts. Kalo has developed a minor case of asthma, so he has learned to use an inhaler with some assistance. Kalo and Tanya love to play music on the Center's instruments and sing. They are very creative.Josef Michal, 13 years old, and Klara Marie, 6 years old, are siblings from the Czech Republic. Their mother left them, and their father started to become abusive. Fearing for his sister's life and his own life, Josef took Klara and a few possessions and ran away. After finding them on the streets, the Prague Center worked with the police to get their father to relinquish custody to us. Klara is very attached to Josef. She also loves her kitten, Zbelet. Josef is very loving and protective of Klara. He is also an athletic boy, and wishes to play sports.

It has been six months since they all came to live in Colorado with us and we are pleased to report that they are adjusting well. Josef, our oldest, recently celebrated his fourteenth birthday with some of his new friends. We are surprised at how well Josef accepted Marcus, as his father had been abusive. The two enjoy a fulfilling relationship. Josef is playing soccer and gets good grades. Leah, 12, is adjusting better than we expected. At first, she was very moody and irritable, but after we established a routine she was a lot better. She is going to a regular school, but has therapy three days a week. We have found that Leah has really bonded with our horses. She loves feeding them and leading them around. Tikva, Leah's golden retriever, gets on well with our dogs and seems happy here. Kent, 7, loves his new brothers and sisters. He especially likes having Josef as an older brother. Kent and Josef play soccer together often and even share a room. Kent plays soccer in an informal league at school. Klara, now also 7, is gaining confidence and independence. She is still very close to Josef, but is beginning to experience the joys of life for herself. Klara and Rory became fast friends and they have tea parties and play house together often. Klara's kitten, Zbelet, is growing into a clever young cat. He likes playing in the barn and has found many hiding places in the hayloft and the attic. However, he always comes when Klara calls.

Congratulations!Jorie and David, Logan International Adoption Center is pleased to inform you that we have found 4 children for you.Adriana Sofía (Ana), Carolina Susana (Lina), and Gabriel Joaquin (Gabe) are 4-year-old triplets from Argentina. They came to our Buenos Aires Center a year ago after their parents died in a car crash.Ana has stopped talking. She can do all the things a healthy 4-year-old can do, but refuses to say a word. Lina has abandonment issues, and does not like to be left alone for more than a few minutes. Gabe is the only one of the three who does not have any visible problems, but we have been keeping an eye on him and making him feel included. We have also decided to place Camila Elisabete (Cami), 7 years old from Portugal, with your family. Cami was found in a run-down apartment with at least 4 other children. There was no adult, and when asked, Cami (who was the oldest child there) said she hadn't seen her aunt for a few days. After some tests, we found that Cami and the children were not related at all. We eventually figured out that her "aunt" was actually the person her mother had left her with as a baby. Cami is slightly shy, but loves children. She has made it clear that she wants to be in a home with a lot of children so she can help take care of them.We are happy that we have been able to place these children with you, and will appreciate any updates on their new lives with you.

DS/DS: Tycho Meer / Jochem Dover (3)Cami, Ana, Lina and Gabe have been living with us for two months now. We've onjoyed our time with them veery much and they have too. Things are going much better with Lina, we can let her alone for almost over an hour now. That's been great, we are confident that she'll conquer her fear. Ana still doesn't speak, while her brother and sister already speak Dutch pretty well. Cami is beginning to speak Dutch as well. She play with nonie a lot and Nonie is very happy not to be the only girl anymore. The boys have handled the additions to the family pretty well. It was hard in the beginning for Koen, he was overwhelmed. Marco is very keen on Gabe, he plays soccer with him :)
David and me couldn't be happier, it's hard, but very much worth it. We want to thank you for assisting in the adoption.Jorie and David

Congratulations!Elisabeth and Nicholas, we are pleased to inform you that we have found four children for you.Mélanie Adélaïde and Luc Jean-Baptiste are 6-year-old twins from France. They have been living at our Marseilles Center since they were three. Their mother gave birth when she was only 15. She lived with her mother, but after the mother died when the twins were 3, she could not afford to support them. Mélanie is a solemn girl who is also very shy, though extremely intelligent for her age. Luc is his sister's protector. He also loves to play soccer. Both twins are very happy that they can be adopted together.Siana Aderyn (5 years old) and Tristan Emrys (2 years) are siblings from Wales. They are in the Center because their mother died giving birth to Tristan and their father did not want them after that. Siana is a happy little girl. "Sadie" as she likes to be called, loves to draw and paint. Tristan is an energetic toddler who loves to play outside and be with Sadie.Logan International Adoption Center is happy that you are willing to give these children homes. We would appreciate any future updates on their new lives.------------------------------------------

Nicholas and I were happy to welcome Mélanie Adélaïde, Luc Jean-Baptiste, Siana Aderyn, and Tristan Emrys into our family. One year later, this is what they're up to:Mélanie is still very serious and shy, though she's loosened up a bit and has made a few good friends in her first grade class. She picked up English very quickly; I was impressed as it took me years to learn French that well! Mélanie is very reserved, and sometimes Nicholas and I have trouble getting her to tell us what she wants. However, we have discovered that she likes horses, and she started lessons three months ago and seems to be enjoying them.Luc is a fun, athletic boy, who is almost the opposite of his sister. Luc is chatty (though he still speaks in French sometimes) and is friends with nearly all the boys in his class. Luc loves soccer, and played on his school's team this year. He has also expressed an interest in learning baseball, which he had never played before his arrival.Siana, or Sadie, is a great little girl. She and Mélanie have become friends, a friendship which I believe was formed by the more outgoing Sadie. Sadie is friendly and sweet and has a habit of drawing pictures to represent her current mood. She's quite the artist. We offered Sadie riding lessons with Mélanie, but Saie said that she would prefer dancing school, where she is taking tap and ballet.Tristan is absolutely adorable. He is one of those toddlers who is always smiling...unless you leave him in a room alone for more than about five minutes (which can be a problem at bedtime). He loves to play with Luc and Sadie, though the quiet Mélanie does not excite him as much. Tristan and I have fun spending time together while the other three are at school.
