Elijah definitely. It's masculine and handsome, biblical, has a great meaning and just sounds so much nicer.

I'm not fond of the sound of Ewan. The w throws me a bit, in my mind it should be a v.
So, I'd go with Elijah.

Elijah by a landslide. Okay so it has popularity against it, which Ewan doesn't, but I think Ewan sounds ridiculous whereas I love everything about Elijah.

Elijah is much too religious and seems to lack nns, but what do I know? I've never met one. Ewan, then. Pity about the Eww.

Elijah. Ewan is too short and dated. It wouldn't fit anyone under 40.

Elijah, definitely. I like it anyway, and Ewan sounds awful.

Elijah, good strong name and Eli is a good nn too
Ewan can have spelling issues and pronounciation issues too. It's a good name too

Elijah, because it feels overwhelmingly more culturally correct. The meaning of Ewan's way cooler, though.

Elijah, especially when the other one is spelled Ewan instead of Evan. My answer would be Elijah regardless, but the spelling made it a lot easier.

Elijah, especially when said as 'i-LIE-zhə' It has a better appeal to it-Looks and sounds nicer and has the nice nn option of 'Eli'

Ewan. It's an established name here, and I am not religious. I also dislike Eli, it sounds slimy to me.

Elijah. I don't like the "ew" sound in Ewan.

Both names sound unpleasant to me, but if I had to choose which one sounds less icky, it would be Elijah.
