What do you think of the names Isabella and Piper for a set of twins?
Saw this today and not sure if I like it, something about it jars me slightly though I do like both names.*~Loads of Randomness~*

Blech. I like Isabella if you're after a frilly, hyper-feminine name. I can't stand Piper. As twins they are jarringly different so overall it's just one big fail.

See, this is was I thought as well. They're okay names by themselves but together? Just doesn't work for me

I like Isabella but Piper isn’t my style so in my opinion they don’t go together also because they both end in the same sound even though this can work with other names ending in a and er

I'm more likely to think that similar ends tend to make names work together (though can sound too matchy).
I agree that Isabella and Piper are OK names

They both suck individually but for different reasons. Isabella is big and billowy and overstuffed, but Piper is silly and simpering and squeaky.

I think because they are such different names is why they don't work that we'll together

At first glance, they don't go together at all, but they both have this unpleasant kind of trendiness, and they both sound like bratty teenagers to me.

I'm not a fan of the names but I like that you can tell that they were given their own name and not just a name that went with the other sibling's name to be matchy.

Didn't think of it like that. I suppose that's true. It's quite nice for twins not to have matchy names

They’re both trendy, but that’s the only thing they have in common. One is long, frilly and femme and the other is short and surnamey. I’m not a fan of matchy names for twins, but they should at least be a similar style.
