Sol is a beautiful Parisian up and coming actress, while Gael is a poor boy from the country who is working at his parents convenience store. When he is ringing up Sol's snacks and candy,he notices that she is a actress he has heard of and asks her on a date. She says yes, and they go to a movie and have dinner at his house, stir fry from a recipe he decided to try out. He eventually falls in love with her, and her with him and they get married without Sol's parents knowing, though Marie-Jeanne Bellamy and Pierre Bellamy are extremely supportive of their marriage and their new daughter in law. She tells them she divorced her ex husband Nicolas a few months ago, and reveals that he was emotionally abusive towards her. They move to Poland, as well.
