I love it and think it sounds great with Marguerite. As another commenter mentioned, even if it doesn't mean "star," it seems like it could. I like that it doesn't have a typical feminine ending. The only drawback - since nobody has said it yet - is that the first syllable is "ass." That wouldn't stop me from using it, though.
