Help[Games] Yay! - The Levitt Family Years 0-10 (I think I'm done, unless I can't help myself) ;)

I like a bit of randomness, so I rolled for my starting pair’s locations of origin and their current location. Then I used Random Renamer to get suggestions from cultures that would be prevalent in their origin locations (e.g. Canada = English, French, Scottish, Chinese) and chose my favorites from those, then their looks based on all that. For multiples, spouses, etc. I’ll usually roll for gender unless I decide not to for some reason. I’m fickle like that.

A fitness instructor from Singapore, straight black hair and brown eyes, of Indonesian and Chinese ancestry
Archer and Kasih met at the gym where Kasih worked in Singapore, where Archer was filming on location for an action movie he was in. They spent a lot of time together for the few weeks he was there, and kept in touch after he went back to Canada. They got married this year and decided why not move to France since Archer is going to be on location for a number of months this time.

The Levitts have a baby….make that two - they had twin boys! They wanted to honor both of their cultures so gave them first names with meaning to Archer that also would hopefully work in France (why they spelled Henry the French way), and decided to honor Kasih and her family by choosing unisex Chinese middle names that together spell her maiden name, Ruan.

The Leavitts got a cat! Like crazy people they decided that, despite having two two-year-olds, they would adopt a kitten. She was the last left of a litter one of their friends’ cats had and when they saw her they fell in love. They named the fluffy Birman kitty Bambou.

The Leavitts have moved once again, this time to be closer to extended family. They decided to move, at least for now, to Canada instead of Singapore since there’s good work for Archer in the film industry there, and bought a house.

Kasih and Archer decided it was time to add another little one to their family now that the twins were a bit older. They had success and now have another baby boy! They wanted his first name to be classic like his brothers’ but with an Indonesian twist, a high challenge, but quickly fell in love with Skandar, a diminutive form of Alexander. They chose Thomas for his middle name, another classic, this time honoring Archer’s older (and only) brother.

The Leavitt family got a bit of a surprise this year – another son and brother! Arthur and Kasih were quite surprised when they found out that they were pregnant again when Skandar was only four months old. They have just welcomed Fraser Daud, named for Archer’s Scottish heritage and Canadian history, and the Indonesian form of David which Kasih has always considered “manly and lovely”.

Oh dear, they’ve got three under three! Thankfully, Kasih and Archer are too overjoyed at the safe arrival of their new baby girl (and sleep deprived) to feel anything but happiness after their second surprise pregnancy. They wanted her to have a very feminine Indonesian first name like her mother that would work well with both of their family’s cultures (they like the nickname Mel) and decided on a name popular in Canada for her middle name.

For their 10th Anniversary, Archer bought Kasih a horse, which she’d long wished to get someday. She named the beautiful Andalusian Setiawan, which is Indonesian for “loyal friend”. Graham and Henri regularly fight over who will get to help brush Setia when they come in after an afternoon ride.
