Which one, and why? Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I like them all. I'd probably pick Valerie.

Vanessa. I love Veronica, but won't chance Ronnie, and Valerie is okay but a distant second to both. It's just occurred to me that the ending of Vanessa is perilously close to my hated "issa" names, but I suppose one little sound makes a difference.

Veronica because of Veronica Mars! Plus, it's a traditional middle name on the Lithuanian side of my family (well, Veronika). I really love Valerie and Vanessa too though, so it was a tough choice this time. I love the meaning of Valerie, and Vanessa is just fun to say and makes me think of Vanessa Carlton.

Veronica is awesome. She is elegant, refined, but has a crowbar for a spine. She wears a long black evening dress with a Walther PPK in her garter. She'll gladly drink a glass of wine at the oligarch's table before serving him the subpoena with a smile. As you can see... I really like the name Veronica. Valerie and Vanessa aren't bad names (I prefer the former of the two), but in my mind they don't compare.

Valerie because It's less common, and I think it's much prettier than Vanessa and Veronica.

Valerie would be my pick. I like the valorous meaning. It sounds the warmest and most approachable.Veronica is harsh sounding and sounds like an 80s mean girl.Vanessa sounds like a flibbertigibbet.

Vanessa. I’m pretty neutral to all of them.

Veronica is too long and too complicated. It will inevitably shorten, and I'm underwhelmed by Vera, Ron(nie) and Nic(kie).
Valerie just isn't doing it for me and never has. No particular reason; it just seems suited to bland, forgettable people.
Vanessa is definitely The One: when I was at uni two of my guy friends were dating Vanessa women, both of them tiny, dark, very beautiful and very nice. That's enough to swing it for me.

I simply cannot express how much I love the names Valerie and Vanessa. Veronica sounds too snobby for me.(Edit:oops, sorry, I replied to you and not the original person, sorry)

Valerie because it is associated with good memories for me. I've had one friend named Valorie and one named Valarie. Somehow I never hit the usual spelling.I like both Vanessa and Veronica but Valerie has the memories.

Vanessa, followed closely by Veronica. I like the way it sounds. Very soft and beautiful. Veronica is beautiful as well but in its own sort of way.I don't care for Valerie at all. It neither looks nor sounds pleasant. Also, the ones I've known with this name I have not cared for-and for good reasons, especially this one in paticular. I'd feel hesitant if I were to meet another one.

There's nothing necessarily wrong with Valerie or Vanessa. They just do nothing for me. Also, I've only known one person named Valerie. This was in high school and she was a little odd so I suppose she has colored my impression of the name, especially since I've never met another. Veronica is lovely and I like the history behind the name. If I were to use this for a dd, I'd think I'd call her Nicki which may seem boring to some, however, I like Veronica's tie to Nike. The nn Nica is nice as well but only in a culture that would pronounce it NEE-kah.

I don't like any of them very much ...I like Vanessa least because to me it comes off snobby, like it's trying hard to sound eleglamfisticated. Vainness-a.I want to like Veronica. I think it's a neat name objectively. But, RON. I don't like the sound of it in my accent. And I think it's just somehow emotionally contaminated for me, by early exposure to Archie comics.Valerie is dated, so 1970s. I now think Valeria is much cooler. I had Valerie on a list, way back when, but when I was having a girl I lost interest in it. It just seems a little brassy.Still and all, I'd rather call my kid (or be) Valerie, than VRAWnuhkuh or Vainnessa any day. So Valerie it is.

Well, Valerie, obviously, since I liked it enough to actually use it. :)
Vanessa is a great name too; to me, it's almost the go-to Sophisticated Glamorous Woman name.
Veronica is pretty too, still elegant but a bit funkier.
So I actually like all three of these names quite a bit.
