One of my favourite books is by a woman called Marjane Satrapi. I love the book and I love her name.

I saw both the films adapted from her works Persepolis and Poulet aux prunes.

If you like the genre I suggest you The Breadwinner adapted in 2017 from a work by Deborah Ellis.

P.S. Here the protagonist is named پروانه Parvana (or Parvaneh) meaning "butterfly" in Persian.
