[Opinions] Teresa or Theresa?
I posed a poll question about this, but the results are so close, and with a lot of votes! Theresa so far has only one more vote than Teresa, which is barely a majority. So I decided to ask here:Of the two spellings, which is your favorite form of Teresa / Theresa? Why?***Please rate my personal name lists:www.behindthename.com/pnl/69381

Teress. The h is a needless extra letter.

Theresa because I love the way the Th looks rather than Te. I also have a very good association with the name Theresa.

Teresa because it looks cleaner so to speak but I really don’t care much for either.

I'm not sure. Theresa is more recognizable but maybe Teresa is prettier? If using it, probably Theresa. It's interesting that people are saying Teresa is te-ree-sa and Theresa is te-ray-za. I like both, but the only pronunciation I've ever been familiar with is te-ree-za.

Teresa - it's the form used in Poland, and I'm Polish. I also think it looks much lighter and more youthful than Theresa.

I prefer Teresa because it's simpler and has less potential for mispronunciation and misspelling.I was going to name my first son Teresa had he been a girl, with the pronunciation teh-REE-sa. I'm glad this naver came about because I would not have liked hearing it said teh-RAY-sa or teh-RAY-za.

In my experience: Teresa is pronounced Tuh-ree-za or Tuh-ree-sa & Theresa is pronounced Tuh-ray-za or Tuh-ray-sa.
I prefer Theresa with the S sound.
