I far prefer Isabel or Isobel, but as an English name I don't see the point of Isabelle. In English usage, it sounds exactly like Isabel and making it look French without sounding French is weird and unnecessary.The only different images I get are of the parents! I'd be more inclined to approve of Isabel's parents than of Isabelle's!Same applies to Bridget and Brigitte and, my worst but fairly standard where I live, the awful Bridgette!
