Louis became King of France way earlier than anyone expected, it was a foolish hunting accident that took the life of his father Henri and made the barely nineteen years old Louis a new King of France. This all happened just a month after his marriage to Austrian Archduchess Marie-Amelie, daughter of the Austrian Emperor Joseph III. The two of them have been promised to each other since Marie-Amélie has been born and rumor has it that she did everything in her power to change her father's mind and call the engagement off, but nothing helped and she had to marry Louis and move to France to start her new life at the French court.

A heir is born! Marie-Amelie gave birth to a son Sébastien in the early hours of the summer solstice day. Sébastien is the spitting image of his mother which makes Louis incredibly happy. Albeit their marriage was aranged, he had found a great liking in his wife.

King Louis received a marriage offer one that you can't say no to. Although his own marriage is still going through a rocky patch it's not where his mind lays on, he has three growing children that he has to marry well. Doge Bartolomeo III of Venice offered his only child and daughter Principessa Vittoria to marry Louis's second son Nicolas. Upon the death of Bartolomeo Nicolas would take over the throne of Venice. After Comtesse Sophie de Saint Germain was seen with one of King's closest advisors and he sentenced both of them to guilotine, his marriage to Marie-Amelie is back on track. Just when Louis and Marie-Amelie were slowly losing their hope and stated discreetly looking for a suitable bride between French nobility a marriage offer came for their oldest son Sébastien. Marie-Amelie's older brother now Emperor Joseph IV of Austria offered an union between his middle daughter Archduchess Elisabeth and Sébastien. The wedding of Prince Sébastien and Archduchess Elisabeth at Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris turned out to be a grand occassion. Although they met for the first time in front of the altar Sébastien and Elisabeth took a liking in each other very shortly after the wedding. Marie-Amelie is pleased that her niece is getting used to the life at French court rather quickly and easily.
The grand wedding was quickly overshadowed by the news that Doge Bartolomeo III of Venice was dying after an injury he suffered during a hunting trip. Prince Nicolas had to be rushed over to Venice and just days before the death of Bartolomeo married his barely fifteen years old daughter Vittoria before the two of them became the rulers of Venice. Nicolas now rules under the name Niccolò I.

King Louis was assasinated during a visit to Normandy by a member of republican movement. The attacker was quickly found, but the King passed away from numerous stabs he received. The young Sébastien and his wife Elisabeth were crowned new King and Queen of France. Members of the same republican movement tried to take also Sébastien's life. This time the guards were however ready and the attacker was stabbed to death, his eighteen companions were guilotined the next day.
In much happier occasion Princess Orianne married Duc Patrice de Lorraine at Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris. In a very unconvential way Orianne was allowed to marry for love and the newlywed couple moved into the Duc's Chateau just outside of Paris.

The excitement was great when it became known that the Queen of France was with a child again, it was however followed with a big dissapointment when she gave birth to identical twin girls. Madeleine and Marie-Sophie have dark brown hair and their father's blue eyes and are both very adorable babies, but neither of them is a boy and the heir the Kingdom needs. On the other hand in Venice Niccolò and Vittoria further secured the line with the birth of their second son Lodovico who looks exactly like his mother. With three new babies Orianne and Patrice just silently mourn the loss of their child that was born to heaven.

The heir is born! Sébastien and Elisabeth welcomed a son who has been named Louis after his late grandfather. He looks like a little angel with blond hair, blue eyes and cute dimples in his cheeks. His three older sister especially dot on him, while his parents are relieved that the line to the throne is secured.
Over in Venice the kingdom is mourning the loss of the King. Niccolò passed away after he contracted smallpox, luckily Vittoria and their two sons have been spared of the grave illness. The four year old Innocenzo took over the country from his father. Until his eighteen birthday he will be just a King by proxy and his mother will lead the country.

Sébastien and Elisabeth welcomed their second son. To everyone's surprise little Thibault is born with a head full of red hair, which as it later turnes out must be inherited from his great-grandmother.

The wedding of Prince Sébastien and Archduchess Elisabeth at Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris turned out to be a grand occassion. The excitement was great when it became known that the Queen of France was with a child again, it was however followed with a big dissapointment when she gave birth to identical twin girls. Madeleine and Marie-Sophie have dark brown hair and their father's blue eyes and are both very adorable babies, but neither of them is a boy and the heir the Kingdom needs. On the other hand in Venice Niccolò and Vittoria further secured the line with the birth of their second son Lodovico who looks exactly like his mother. The heir is born! Sébastien and Elisabeth welcomed a son who has been named Louis after his late grandfather. He looks like a little angel with blond hair, blue eyes and cute dimples in his cheeks. His three older sister especially dot on him, while his parents are relieved that the line to the throne is secured.
Over in Venice the kingdom is mourning the loss of the King. Niccolò passed away after he contracted smallpox, luckily Vittoria and their two sons have been spared of the grave illness. The four year old Innocenzo took over the country from his father. Until his eighteen birthday he will be just a King by proxy and his mother will lead the country.

Sébastien and Elisabeth welcomed their second son. To everyone's surprise little Thibault is born with a head full of red hair, which as it later turnes out must be inherited from his great-grandmother.
There was also a great joy also in a chateau just outside of Paris after Orianne gave birth to a healthy daughter. She and Patrice decided to name her Marie-Ophelie and she looks just like her mother, much to her father's joy.

Orianne and Patrice welcomed their second daughter whom they named Marie-Hélène. She has her father's light brown hair and blue eyes after her grandmother.
Over in Norway the situation is less then ideal, not even a year after a French Prince took over the throne, he also impregnanted a commoner. Ingeborg is a daughter of a well known doctor, but not a noble man. Despite this being deeply in love with her Theodor decides to marry despite the disagreement of many. Only three months after the wedding Ingeborg gives birth to triplets, two daughters Pia and Dagmar and a son and a heir to the throne Viktor. The birth of the heir smooths the situation in Norway a little, but Theodor's position as King of the country is still not overly secure.
In political news Sébastien leads his country into a war with Prussia. Despite a lack of strategical skills he is successful and wins the war after several months returning back with money for the treasury and his popularity being at maximum.
