[Opinions] Re: Nancy
in reply to a message by cranberry
Nancy has never been widely used where I live, so there are no associations. (I'm aware of the late Mrs Reagan, and Ms Sinatra, but not in any detail.) I've always liked it very much and would like to see many more. It doesn't seem like a nickname any more, but it would be fine as an independent name in its own right.
When I was about 8 or 9, I thought I wanted twins named Nancy and Nina, which I found subtle and sophisticated!
