DBaby On-The-Way: ? ? ? (Excitement is building quickly!)DPug: KittyThings here are going well... Or, at least, partly. One awful thing was that my Grandfather, George, died a few weeks ago. It was all very sudden- though old, he was as healthy as a horse the day before it happened. He died July 8th, in a tragic plane accident. I found out while I was taking Noah and Luca to the park, Juliet at school, and Andrew at work. I got a call from my mother on my cell phone, and she broke the news to me. It was all quite a shock, my papa that I loved so much, dead. I felt horrible about the timing- Alone with my two year old sons, I wonder what it must have felt like for them, just seeing their mama crying and talking on the phone. Then I had to tell everyone... Juliet was devestated, she understands the concept of death by now, because one of her friends from school, Lily, died about a year ago, and she was very close to my father. Andrew was upset as well, but stayed strong, which I'm thankful for. I don't think Noah and Luca quite understood... But that's alright.Despite the shock, we inherited his house. (http://www.houseplans.com/plan_details.asp?id=12839&st=7) It's a beautiful, colonial-style house, with FIVE bedrooms, plenty of room for baby coming, and any other additions. Only fifteen minutes away from where we used to live, which is also very nice- Andrew doesn't have to find a new job, and Juliet doesn't have to adjust to a new school. We're so thankful for it. It's a true godsend, since we're expecting baby number 4, and running out of room. We couldn't buy a new house due to having to pinch a few pennies at the moment, so this house really is a wonderful surprise, despite the circumstances! We've just told our families, figuring they could use some good news, and they're all so excited, as are we.Juliet is doing wonderful. She never ceases to amaze us, growing up so quickly and beautifully. She's still a little blonie, despite our suspisions of her hair turning darker with age. She recently started kindergarten, and loves it. She adores recess, it gives her a whole playground to get her energy out, and she's been meeting a ton of new friends. Not unexpectedly, her best friend is a boy- Connor. We thought it might end up like that! Juliet is definetly feminine, but she's such an athletic little rascal, that only the boys like to run around with her at recess. Connor is a charming, rambunctious little 6-year-old boy, who lives down the street from us, in our new house, and we're glad he and Juliet got on so well. Almost everyday, Juliet says to Andrew, "Daddy? Can I play with Connor?" Andrew's a sucker for Juliet, and when she starts jumping out of anticipation, he just can't say no!Noah and Luca are great! They're very, very different, though almost identical. They're face shapes are slightly different, though hair, eyes, and height are the same! Luca is a little daredevil like his sister, he loves running around the yard and playing baseball with daddy. Noah on the other hand, is such a sweet, shy child. He is very intelligent, and likes doing art projects, rather than screaming his lungs out with Luca. Despite their differences, they love each other very much, as do Andrew, Juliet and I. We're especially grateful for them to grow up so healthy and happy! It's been busy, eh? All I can say is that it's only going to get busier, I expect :)
