[Opinions] Hadrian...for a girl??
You might know Hadrian as a masculine name. However, the only one I've ever met...was actually a girl! As a result, I was very surprised when I found out Hadrian was masculine...it just didn't make sense to me! But now it does, as it is related to the name Adrian. What are your thoughts on Hadrian as a girl name?Happy naming!~MarioDM02P.S. I'm going to name my children after a grunge star and/or video game character, and no one can stop meh! >:3

Not in love with it, but it totally works for either gender.

I think it works for a girl :)

Nope, Hadrian is 100% masculine to me. Can't picture it on a girl at all.

Hadrian for a girl is, quite simply, illiterate. Of course, there's no law against it, but it seems a silly thing to copy. If her parents had wanted to use the Latin spelling, then Hadriana was there, ready and waiting! Or Hadrienne, or Hadrianne, along the lines of Adrienne and Adrianne.Hadrian is not related to Adrian. The H was silent in Latin, so it sounded like and is identical with Adrian.

I love Hadrian for a boy. I’d hate to see it stolen for the girls.

The same thing happened to me with Adrian, the first one I ever met was a girl so I assumed for a long time it was a girls name.I hate Hadrian (and Adrian) for a girl. Love them for a boy.
