That is correct, but I believe for widow you can also use goke(後家), kafu(寡婦), onna-yamome(女やもめ/女寡婦-"female widow"), yamome(やもめ/寡婦-"widow") or kōshitsu(後室-"dowager/widow"). I'm not 100% certain of their meanings or how often these terms are used but here's my source: https://jisho.org/search/widow
Personally I think Kitsune-Kōshitsu or Kitsune-Kafu sound pretty cool, if not a mouthful haha.
Edit: Now that I think about it, there is a character from an anime who is an evil fox spirit named Hagoromo-Gitsune(羽衣狐), who I believe is also a widow. Might be a nice homage to go from one character name to another.
