I like Talya and I think that is the correct form.
Compare Talya טַלְיָה with Rivqah רִיבְקָה. In the case of Talya the "i" is a consonant because the previous "l" is in a open syllable (Tal) while in Rivka is a wovel (Ri). So I prefer to write Talya with y.
For the same reason I prefer write Talya with y and not Talia as the last one is a form of Thalia.
I love Talya, Talia and Thalia and I like when they are not confused XD
Obviously is just my point of view and if you prefer Talia as a form of Talya rather than Thalia's one so it's ok ^^

1
