[Facts] Hutoka
I have found a probably 4th or 5th cousin with the name Hutoka Daily who lived in Lebanon, Ind. She died in 2008 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon. The name is of Cherokee origin meaning springing fawn. I suppose it is possible that her mother had Cherokee blood. Her mother was Ruby Fosnight.

I have submitted the name Hutoka to this site (see https://www.behindthename.com/name/hutoka/submitted ). I have no information whether this name is an invention of the writer or based on real Native American words; evidence for real Native American usage of the name would be great.

Fawn in Cherokee is awi agina (according to several dictionaries). Maybe the combination of a springing fawn makes Hutoka?
