It a heavy name, definitely. Though it used to be one of my favorites. King Lear is still my favorite Shakespeare play.

I'm surprised it wasn't popular in the 80s, when Cori and Octavia were.

It's pretty, but the vibe I get from it is mainly sporty or tough...active, regal...the cor* brings to mind 'heart' and 'crown' (corona) associations, for me.

Hi Morgan !!!

I felt in love with it recently and I'd like to use it in real life.

Infact it could work perfectly in Italy although is not Italian thanks to its sound, final -a and the similar look to Cornelia.

I love all the meanings: the ones related with sea and the Latin ones that mean "sweet heart" or "lion Heart".

It is earthy but also princessy and evocative.

I hope it will spread.

I like it a lot and I really love its sound in english. (But I live in a french an german speaking area and unfortunately they would pronounce this beautiful name horribly.)

I think it’s gorgeous. It’s frilly and a bit princess-y. I can also see it as a name for a witch, hehe. I like it! I do prefer Cora / Coraline though.
