Backstory:
Tahlia Evison grew up in a poor part of Darwin, Australia, she had many siblings & her being the oldest was pushed away from her mother's focus while she paid more attention to the younger children, which made her an introvert. Tahlia always wanted to be a teacher but growing up in a poor family their wasn't money for her to go to University. Her mother made this very clear when Tahlia went to her mother to talk about higher education, her dreams were crushed. Tahlia soon moved out at the age of 17 & never looked back, her mother also became angry with Tahlia as she came out as asexual. Her relationship with her mother was in tatters & she never knew her father so that didn't help either. Tahlia yearned to love someone she had so much love to give but never found anyone who wanted it.
Zara Curry grew up in a middle class family & was an only child. Zara always wanted a younger sibling but her mother died while in childbirth. Zara's father secretly resented Zara for this but felt guilty about it. Zara had no relationship with her father to speak of. When Zara was older & wanted to go to university she tried talking to her father about it. Her father said unless she paid for it she wasn't going to any university. Zara was crushed & knew she could pay for it. She got a job at 16 & worked very hard to raise money for her education. Eventually she raised enough money & left home. Zara soon realized she was bisexual & it shocked her that she was but accepted it.
Tahlia & Zara enrolled in university around the same time. Tahlia & Zara were placed as roommates & immediately hit it off. Months later Tahlia realized her feelings for Zara & admitted them. Zara feeling the same told Tahlia. They soon started dating as the year went on.
Their story starts two years after they started dating & moved into a small apartment together.

Soon after moving in together Tahlia & Zara decided to expand their family. They went to a local shelter & saw Enzo a german shepherd mix. They fell in love with him & adopted him. He was a playful dog who became their little baby.

Zayne had been feeling very bad gender dysphoria for the past two years & finally came out as trans. Tahlia was shocked at first but supported Zayne for who he really was. Zayne started T shortly after & got top surgery. Zayne's relationship with his father became non existent after Zayne came out to him. Zayne was distraught but knew he had to be himself.
Year 3: Tahlia & Zayne Graduate from University

Tahlia & Zayne gladly took him in. He has wavy dark red hair, blue eyes, & medium skin. He was so happy to have two parents who loved & could provide for him. Enzo soon became his best friend.

Tahlia & Zayne moved into a bigger home as they wanted to adopt more children. They were expecting to adopt one more child & be finished with their family but were paired with three children from the surrounding area. They couldn't turn the children away & took them in. Ruby, Mariam, & Isaac got along with Jasper quickly. The children loved that they had parents that they could rely on. Enzo & Leif got along well with the children too.

Zayne's company went bankrupt & had to let all of the employees go. The family took a hit as their income was cut in half. Zayne was actively looking for a job but times were becoming hard & finding a job became hard. Zayne did odd jobs around town to try & support his family better, Tahlia was thankful Zayne didn't just sit around all day.

Tahlia Evison grew up in a poor part of Darwin, Australia, she had many siblings & her being the oldest was pushed away from her mother's focus while she paid more attention to the younger children, which made her an introvert. Tahlia always wanted to be a teacher but growing up in a poor family their wasn't money for her to go to University. Her mother made this very clear when Tahlia went to her mother to talk about higher education, her dreams were crushed. Tahlia soon moved out at the age of 17 & never looked back, her mother also became angry with Tahlia as she came out as asexual. Her relationship with her mother was in tatters & she never knew her father so that didn't help either. Tahlia yearned to love someone she had so much love to give but never found anyone who wanted it.
Zara Curry grew up in a middle class family & was an only child. Zara always wanted a younger sibling but her mother died while in childbirth. Zara's father secretly resented Zara for this but felt guilty about it. Zara had no relationship with her father to speak of. When Zara was older & wanted to go to university she tried talking to her father about it. Her father said unless she paid for it she wasn't going to any university. Zara was crushed & knew she could pay for it. She got a job at 16 & worked very hard to raise money for her education. Eventually she raised enough money & left home. Zara soon realized she was bisexual & it shocked her that she was but accepted it.
Tahlia & Zara enrolled in university around the same time. Tahlia & Zara were placed as roommates & immediately hit it off. Months later Tahlia realized her feelings for Zara & admitted them. Zara feeling the same told Tahlia. They soon started dating as the year went on.
