Hi !!!
I think that Leonid is gorgeous and interesting as Russian name.
Leo- names are increasing in popularity where I live and I agree with this fact.
Leonid is better than Leonida (Italian form) because it is more masculine and strong imo. It is worse than Leonidas though.

In Russian, Leonida is a feminine name. Personally I think Leonida looks better on a girl.

I agree with you. Unfortunately is this the Italian masculine form.
