Well, I think it's pretty but it feels incomplete when you consider how well-known names like Layla and Kayla are. It needs a little something.
I think the Turkish pronunciation is nice enough but it's not very practical for non-Turkish people; you can't expect them to know it's "Eye-La" without being told.
The Ay-la pronunciation is also nice, but like I said, feels lacking. If people are familiar with the Earth's Children series, they'll recognize Ayla as one of the main characters, and as I recall, in the first book of the series, the name's pronunciation isspecifically stated as the closest the Neanderthals could come to Ayla's actual name.We don't need to set the sky on fire. A little glow will do just fine.
