Nathan and Ksenia put overenergetic Nastia in gymnastics, dance, and figure skating lessons to get her overactiveness out. They figure she'll probably stick with at least one of them long term.

Year 8
The Cuoccos move to the Chicago area, where Ksenia's new job is. Nathan works from home, so it was not an issue there. They were very glad the new job and subsequent move happened before Nastia went to school.

Nathan and Ksenia put Isaak in a variety of activities, like swimming and soccer, but he decided that he'd like to join Nastia on the ice. Whether that be in figure skating or hockey remains to be seen, as he is still in the very early stages of learning.

The Cuoccos take a family vacation to Disney World in Florida. Every one of the kids absolutely adores it.

Year 15
When Nastia partners with her first pairs skating partner, he lives in Detroit. Nathan and Nastia now spend every other week in Michigan, while Gabriel (Vincent Deschamps) and his mom (Elise Madeleine Deschamps) spend every other week in Chicago. It's trying for both families, but they're doing what they can, because neither want to let their child leave home yet, but also want to help their children chase their dreams.

At 12 and 14 years old, Nastia and Gabriel had no idea where their partnership would take them. Fifteen years, two Olympics, a World medal, a wedding, and two kids later, they've begun coaching in Detroit (where Nastia eventually moved when she was 14). Their son, Joseph Nathan, is three years old, and their daughter, Sasha Madeleine, just turned one.
Isaak is now a translator in the US Army, after having gone to West Point and double majored in Russian Studies and Russian Language and Literature. He is married to Morgan Vivien Foster, a nurse.
Tasha is in her senior year at Loyola Chicago, majoring in Forensic Science and Technology. She hopes to eventually become an FBI agent.
Lilia is in her first year at Chicago State University, majoring in Biology Teacher Education. She also plays the violin in the university orchestra.
Sofia is in her first year at Northwestern University, majoring in Computer Science. She also runs on the cross-country team.
