I think of a man I was once sooo in love with.

Peter is my son's name, so that's who comes to mind. :-)

Sounds kind of nerdy to me but like a fairly nice name for anyone... I kind of prefer the sound of Pedro to Peter as I like the ending sound a bit more , though. I think of Peter Van Pels, from the Story of Anne Frank.

Old man name, not very exciting.

I really like the name Peter and the fact that it has multiple associations. It reminds me of Peter the apostle, Peter Pan, Peter Pevensie from Narnia, and Peter the Great.

The first thing that comes to mind, when I hear the name Peter, is my big brother. He's the oldest of my three big brothers, and the second oldest of all six children, so I've always seen him as being 'grown up' and 'sensible', and that's how I also view the name. However my brother is also great fun, so I see the name as being a fun one as well.

For me, it's my son and the dear friend I named him after.

I love the name Peter. The first thing I think of is one of my best friends whose name was Peter (he passed away). I also love a lot of the variations of this name, like Piotr, Pjetur and Pétur.

I am not so secretly completely in love with the X-Men film version of Quicksilver, and he’s Peter Maximoff, so he’s my first thought. Second would probably be Spidey, then Quill, then Pevensie. I also think of the Hunger Games and Game of Thrones (Peeta Mellark and Petyr Baelish). Unsurprisingly I like the name a lot more than I once did, but in general I do think it’s handsome sounding and mostly has good associations, well good character ones.
