--S1 [dec]: Simon Galen Priddy
--D1 [9]: Hester Judith Priddy
--S2 [dec. 5]: Ezekiel Reuben Priddy
--D2 [5]: Orpha Priscilla Priddy
S2 [32]: Nathaniel Charon Priddy, "Nat"
-W [24]: Vittoria (Sforza) Priddy, "Vita"
--D [3]: Victoria Hope Priddy
--S [1]: Wilbraham Larkin Priddy
S3 [32]: Benjamin Caleb Priddy, "Ben"
-W [d. 25]: Lydia Phoebe (Crane) Priddy

Owen Priddy remembered his father-in-law telling him, quite vulgarly, "If she breed not, send her back." Of course, Owen never even considered such a thing. But it would've been nice if Master Streete had advised them on what to do when their sons died before their fifth birthdays. Little Ezekiel's death after a bout of convulsions absolutely destroyed Viola. And one day Owen walked into their bedroom, in the middle of the day, to see his wife lying down, stone cold, an empty phial next to her. Owen got rid of the evidence to cast doubt upon her taking her own life, thus enabling her to have a Christian burial. Since then he has tried to push forward as the head of his house, amidst a legal battle with his in-laws over retaining Viola's dowry, since she has no surviving sons. Hester and "Prissy" (Orpha) fear their father might slip away, just like their mother and brother Ezekiel (neither remembers Simon).
Ben, meanwhile, was dealt a blow four years ago. Just when he and his new wife, Lydia, were settling into a nice rhythm, her pregnancy turned disastrous. She died from severe dehydration, leaving him alone - which he remained for years, helping his brother Nat with the business. But eyes from on high notice a successful family sooner or later, and that is how Ben met a young lady from the French branch of the Medici family: Dame Dominique de'Medici. When he first saw her, he couldn't believe she was real. This was, as Marlowe once famously put it, the face that launched 1000 ships. Not coming from a particularly religious family, he had no qualms about courting a Catholic, which launched him to the top of Dominique's suitors list.
Nat... well, Nat really should've known better. He really should've known, at this point, not to steal an associate's mistress. But the cock-bawd Leonardo Bellini, a prominent figure in London's underworld with ties to Venice, did not appreciate Vittoria Sforza. Nat recognized this. Over the course of two years they fell madly in love, and finally escaped to elope. This nearly started a war between Bellini and the Priddies, but Paul stepped in to help his son mediate. Financial concessions were made, and no one died (this time). Since then, Nat and Vita have had two children: Victoria and Wilbraham, the latter named after the doctor who delivered both.
Nell seems to have decided to stay home and take care of her parents and the household, acting as another guardian to young Titus and Maud. Paul and Tiggy wish she could find a husband, but she lacks interest. No one can compare to Alban.
