I will go with Clara. Clarabel is just a cow name.

Clara is pretty and timeless. Clarabel still makes me think of a cow, and it just seems too cutesy.

I’d go for Clara too. I don’t particularly like -bel endings (although I like just Belle), and Clarabel sounds overly saccharine.

Clarabel was a Disney cow associated with Donald Duck et al, but she didn't seem to last.

If Clara has the European and English pronunciation of CLAHra, I like it. I dislike it when it rhymes with Sarah. And, either way, I'd use Clare.

Clara. It is just much more elegant IMO. It is simple, but sounds very pure and friendly. Clarabel looks somehow made-up and exerted to be super elegant, but does not attain it.
