This is what I found:
GUMA (Gothic) means "mankind" (related to Latin "homo")
SINTHA (Gothic: sinth) also Old High German "sind" (way, direction, journey), related to modern German "Gesinde" (originally "companion in warfare") and "senden" (to send).
