Ethelinda is kind of cool, but I don’t think it will work in real life. It sounds way too medieval. It would be great for a character.

Yes! I love Ethelinda. The sound has an otherworldly, ancient beauty and the meaning is gorgeous. From your list, I loved the combo Ethelinda Constance (but all of them were nice, imho). A few more of my favorites are:

Is it Ethelinda - is the first "e" long as in the river Lethe, or, is the first letter "E" short - with the second letter "e" resounding as short vowel as well?

I’ve always said it with a short E. Also like your River Lethe analogy.
