They marry in January, and not soon after, discover that they are expecting! The Perraults welcome a baby girl in October. She has curly auburn hair and brown eyes, and they name her Josette Vivian.

Miraculously, they don't have to look too far, as there is a boy of the right height looking for a partner at a skate school just half an hour away. They try out and gel almost immediately, reaching the Canadian championships at the novice level in their first season together.

Samson begins university part-time at McGill University, where he plans to study Management with a concentration in Accounting. Their move begins paying off almost immediately, when they are selected to compete at two Junior Grand Prix events, placing fourth at each, then place second at the Canadian Championships, and are selected to compete at the World Junior Championships in Latvia.

Daisy and Sabine are part of the same synchronized skating team, while Josette has been training at Canada's National Ballet School since she was 12.
