[Opinions] Titania
I've been in love with this name for years. I heard it pronounced ty-TANE-ia in a Shakespeare production in my freshman year and I'm still hooked on it. It's delicate and powerful and a bit mysterious all at once. And a good nickname could be Taney, which I think is really cute. So does anyone else like this name the way I do or would I be ruining my future daughter's life?

I like it. It does bring some words to mind (titanium, titanic) but none are deal breakingly bad, at least for me. It’s not a name I would use myself, but it would be interesting to meet a little girl with the name.
I like it, though I've heard it pronounced "tih-TAHN-ee-ah" in a Shakespeare production. There is some potential for teasing, what with it starting with "Tit" but I still think it's a lovely name.

I love it and prefer it to Tatiana.
Names really don't ruin lives, unless you go for Adolf Hitler Lastname. The moral is, give your child at least one and preferably two middle names, just in case your first choice turns out to be unsuccessful, eg a serial killer with that name and your ln is arrested a few doors away from your home.
That said, Titania was Shakespeare being funny, giving the name of a giantess to a tiny, dainty fairy. And then there's the doomed ocean liner and its iceberg ... I'd never use it, but I'm not you!
