It always gives me the impression of a name that's supposed to be sweet & innocent but the bearer is actually mean. I know that's specific, but it is over-the-top, in-your-face "NICE" to me.
Anyway, I think it's fine as a name by itself. I actually think it would be more difficult to have as a nn for Sarah.
