I've always said I didn't like it, but all of a sudden, it's growing on me. I don't know what you mean by "too Hollywood".

Well I was mainly referring to Jennifer garner and Ben Affleck using it, and I've seen it pop up among minor celebs too.

I like it. My husband loves it. It is probably his favorite name. I knew a little girl with the name, and I liked it more after meeting her. She had a sister named Olive and the sib set was adorable. That said, of the two... I liked Olive better.
Now, Viola.... that is a name I could love.

My daughter's name is Violet (sister's name is Stella), with a cousin named Olive (sisters name Ruby).

Violet and Olive are/were the names of two of my rabbits :)
