Thank you for presenting this as a name. I've never thought or considered it.
It is a beautiful word, so, yes, it is certainly usable.
My first thought moves to possible short, diminutive names, which would occur naturally? - Prair, or Airie ?? Maybe others have better suggestions?
Other forms - pet, affectionate names or forms might be Prairia - Airia, or even Aria, like the operatic exacerbation?
