I don't like it at all. I know the most awful boy named this and I also think of the Silas from the Da Vinci Code

I love the name Silas but I like it better whith Zack as the first name (Zack Silas) I love that combo!!

I don't like it. It reminds me of an antiquated "deep South" kind of name and that doesn't hold a lot of appeal to me. "Deep South" in the US, that is, and antiquated being 19th century-ish. It's just the vibe I get from that name.
