Both are nice, but given the choice, I would go with Gregor. I have a great-grandfather (or maybe great-great-grandfather) named Gregor.

the sounds in Gregor kind of slur together to me, so Gregory. a character in a show i used to like made me warm up to it, but i'm still not so into it because of some guys i've met. it would be really cute on a toddler though- and i actually appreciate how it sounds like egg. i'd use "my egg" as a nn if i was on good terms with a Greg. like all of you should.

They're both okay, but nms. Gregor seems a bit less dated and a little less likely to be shortened, being shorter already.
Greg sounds like the love interest in a cheesy 1950s romance. :)

Love Gregory, not really a fan of Gregor.

I like Gregor a lot and dislike Gregory about the same amount. Gregor sounds strong and Gregory...I don't know, just sounds doddery somehow. I can't bear Greg, not that that was your question!

I prefer Gregor - more international, slightly more macho, and shorter and more definite-sounding. Gregory is fine, and since I don't at all mind Antony and Timothy, it can't be the -y ending, so I don't really understand my own opinion. Plus, I dated a very nice Gregory at one point and all remained amicable, so no hard feelings even. I'd use either as a mn, depending on rhythm.

Realistically, they're both likely to become Greg most of the time, so it hardly matters!

I like Gregor and think it's a very strong, masculine name. I am pretty much indifferent to Gregory, but I really dislike the stand-alone name Gregg.

I'm biased because it's my brother's name, but I've always liked it. It's a classic without being overused or boring.

I far prefer Gregory of the two, but I'm not fond of Gregory. Gregor sounds like an ogre, and Gregory makes me think of eggs. But better eggs than an ogre, lol.

I like Gregory pretty well. Maybe not enough to use it, at least not for a first name, but I do like it.
Gregor, I don't like at all. It looks like a mistake, like Gregory is his name but somebody forgot to add the y.
