[Opinions] Re: Ezra

I like it a lot more than I used to mostly due to a lot of exposure to the name over the past 9 months. My best friend where I currently live and another friend here both named their babies, who were born 3 weeks apart, Ezra. So literally the only two babies in my everyday life right now are Ezra haha. I look after my friend's baby multiple days in the week for a few hours at least each time and it's also not unusual for me to have the other Ezra in my office or in my classroom when I teach.
I used to think it was an ugly name but now it's just a 'normal' name that I say so often that I can't find it ugly anymore, if that makes sense? It's handsome, it's simple and easy, and it's one of the few names that even I haven't ever had the urge to shorten (and I shorten nearly everyone's name lol). Although I do call the Ezras a longer nickname that is a play on their middle name or last name with their first name- think Ezra-Jay and Ezra-Shay kind of thing (they aren't it exactly).
