[Facts] Re: YARIMA

The Hausa-English dictionary on the web (by Bargery) says
yarima
[ya"ri/+ma"] {n.m.}. An official position and little, held by a son or younger brother of the ruling chief.
(with the a" representing low tone, and i/+ indicating a long vowel with mid tone)
This says it is a masculine noun, so i am a bit confused.
