Ian and Sofia have been married for eighteen years, as of when Sofia was six months pregnant with their first child, Addison. They had met in high school, when Ian was a sophomore and Sofia was a freshman. Ian had seen Sofia being taunted by the seniors and offered some comfort, which of course led to them dating, and eventually getting married. Addison is a freshman at Michigan State, while her brother Nick is a junior at the same high school where Ian and Sofia met and her sister Phoebe is in fifth grade. Addison usually lives on campus, but she’ll visit her family during breaks.
