What do you think of Gráinne? What kind of image if any do you get with this name? I know there'd be spelling and pronunciation issues outside Ireland, but I'm not naming a child, just want to use the name for Sims but can't get an idea of what she should be like.

I absolutely hate it. A mash up of 'groin' and 'granny'. I knew a few girls with this name when I lived in Dublin and I felt sorry for them having such an ugly name

I love Grainne. I had DH talked into it for use on a child, but we had a boy.

Grainne has jagged sandy blond hair and green eyes. She is tall and elegant. She is slow to smile and some think she's severe, because of that, but she is extremely kind.

haven't heard of it before, and now i like it a lot. it has a kind of gentle forest loving girl vibe (maybe because of the meaning/resemblance to the word grain). with big glasses, tall hiking boots, and a cute bob cut.

the comments say that there's a famous pirate named Gráinne, so you could also use that as inspiration.
