Yeah, it's entirely associated with GOT. Wtf is it anyway? Melissa X Alexander? What's with the -dre ending that fails in English? Ugh.
Melisande is the replacement IMO, but that's kind of difficult in English too. This is why I like Melisant (a different spelling of Melicent / Millicent).
