Just curious to know what your opinion and viewpoints are with these two names.

Wow, I guess majority rules over Piper. (:
Piper is getting a bit dated now. It was trendy for so long. All the way back to when Charmed was on the air! Plus there really isn’t a lot of good imagery. I think of plumbing, drugs, bitter fairy tale characters who lure children away from their parents for petty revenge... just not good.
I’ve always been confused about why the girls’ camp felt it needed Aubrey. If you’re naming a girl, there’s the perfectly lovely Audrey. There’s no need to try and steal Aubrey away. Leave it for the boys.

Two of the most annoying names ever. No, I don't like Aubrey for a boy, either.
Aubrey is, still, purely male where I live and I quite like it, though not enough to use. On a female it comes across as a sign of parents who are willing to overlook accuracy for the sake of fashion. Unappealing.
Piper doesn't work as a name at all. Someone who pipes. Really? Don't get me wrong: I love bagpipes, regimental bands, sword dancing and all things Scottish except deep-fried Mars bars, but as a name, it's feeble. I suppose a Piper could sign his (or her?) name as π, which might be quite fun for a week.

Piper - too masculine for a girl. It always sounds silly to me. I don't know why it's popular!
Aubrey - Awesome on a boy. Awful on a girl.

I find them both very cute, but also suitable for adults, although more Aubrey than Piper. I feel as if it would be a sibset from the UK.
