Ari and Sarah have Millie, Thomas, Deirdre, Lily and Cate.

Millie and Thatcher have Lainey, Indi, Eli and Arie.

It has been just less than 2 years since Ari passed away from a major heart attack. The loss was a huge shock to the family, especially to Sarah. She has since reconnected with the husband of one of her close friends who passed away a few years back. Harry has no children from his previous marriage. The pair draw comfort from their shared memories and are making new ones together. Their wedding was very small and casual.
Ari got to meet Millie and Thatcher's first 3 children, the two oldest of whom are boy/girl twins as is Millie herself. Millie honoured her father's name in the name of her newborn daughter, Ariana. This name also keeps with the Bates' tradition of naming their children starting with vowels.
Thomas and Indy have also welcomed 2 children and Ari got to meet their oldest, Marc. Marc and Anna are placid children and Thomas and Indy love being their parents.
Deirdre is starting to feel lonely now that all of her siblings are married or dating. She has always felt like the odd one out, not being part of a twinset, despite the special relationship she has with Millie. She is trying to keep her spirits up, particularly since her father's death and mother's remarriage.
Lily actually met James through Cate's husband, Teo, and the two have been dating for about 3 months.
Cate and Teo are still newlyweds, having been married for less than a year. Ari's death hit Cate particularly hard as she was dating Teo at the time and knew her father wouldn't walk her down the isle. Thomas fulfilled the role wonderfully though, with little Marc as the ring bearer and young Lainey as the flower girl.
