Help[Opinions] Minna, Minnie and Meta (more)
What do you think of Minna? Do you pronounce it MIN-na or MEE-na? Do you like Minnie? As a full or a nickname (if so for which full name?) And what about Meta?

I adore Minnie, but as a nickname only.
Minna is okay. To be perfectly honest it sounds like a bit of a copout way to get Minnie as a nickname, if you know what I mean. Like a begrudging nod to the fact that Minnie isn’t the most grown up or professional name, so you needed an alternative. None of that means it isn’t a nice name, it’s just one impression.
Meta might not be the best right now, simply because of the “meta” fad that has swept pop culture these last few years. Every TV show has to have a meta episode, the phrase “that’s so meta” is all over the place, etc. I know it’s pronounced differently, but the similarity will trip people up for sure. Maybe as a nickname?
