His wife, Jacqui, is a blogger with a large online following. Most of her work is on current events, but she also blogs about other topics, including life on a Carribean island. She and Elijah were married six months ago and moved to St. Lucia four months ago. They are still settling in, but are getting used to life there.

This year, Elijah enrolled in a master's degree program to earn a degree in Business. He'd like to be able to run his own business someday, and figured a degree would help. The Connellys moved to Los Angeles, California while Elijah takes his classes. They had to leave Lola in St. Lucia, but had a neighbor who was willing to take her. Zach and Drew are growing quickly. Zach is still a bundle of energy and, now that Drew is mobile, the two of them cause all sorts of chaos at home. Jacqui continues to blog, but has reduced some of her hours so she can keep the boys occupied.

Elijah and Jacqui are hosting a high school exchange student this year. Isabella Melendez is a sixteen year old junior in high school. She has enjoyed her stay so far and is enamored with Zach and Drew. She loves spending time with them and playing games with them.

Isabella returned to Spain in the summer, and was much missed by everyone, especially Zach and Drew. Four months ago, the Connelly family was devastated when Zach was diagnosed with childhood leukemia. It was a very agressive form of cancer, and Zach passed away within a month. The entire family was devastated by the loss, and they are still reeling from Zach's passing.

Elijah and Jacqui found out they were expecting again this year. They were shocked to find out Jacqui was carrying triplets. Identical triplets Ryan, Ian, and Owen were born at 33 weeks, 2 days. After spending a brief stint in the NICU, all three boys were discharged home. Drew is reveling in having three little brothers to play with. He can still remember Zach and how much fun they had playing together. He still occasionally asks Jacqui if the new babies will die like Zach did and, really, Jacqui isn't sure how to answer. She and Elijah continue to spend as much time at home as they can and, since Elijah will be finished his degree in another year, they are looking forward to being able to spend a little more time together.

This year, Elijah finished his business degree and found a job in Virginia at a large restaurant. He was able to get a job that is part-time chef and part-time manager, so really, it is the best of both worlds for him! Drew started school this year and, though Jacqui is sad to spend less time with him, has been delighted to see him grow and make some new friends. Ryan, Ian, and Owen are a little whirlwind of activity at home, especially because they're all now either crawling or walking. Drew hasn't decided whether or not he likes this new development yet--it was a whole lot easier when they were in one place and he could bring toys to them.
