[Opinions] Re: Caroline
in reply to a message by Laslow
I've always loved it. It is my younger sister's name and has perpetually been quite popular in the area I'm from. The popularity doesn't bother me. It is timeless, elegant, and beautiful.
I definitely pronounce Caroline (with a long i) and Carolyn (with a short i) different. It drives me nuts when people pronounce Caroline as Carolyn. It drives my sister even more nuts (since she gets called Carolyn somewhat regularly).
