Ahhh, so many great suggestions, thank you so much! Something with Tamsin Rowan just clicks, and I also like Tamsin Betony, Tamsin Ivy, and Tamsin Heather, although non are normally my style. Tam is great.
Also, were you thinking of Heathers when you mentioned Veronica sounding like a high school villain?

I've actually never seen Heathers! It's just the sense I get from the name.
